Early in 2006, twenty-four local artists came together to form this non-profit gallery. Several consignment artists from the surrounding area also joined in to create a gallery of incredible artwork. After months of planning and hard work, the Grand Opening of Buffalo Creek Gallery on August 10, 2006 was truly a celebration!
Over the past eight years, Buffalo Creek Gallery has become an artistic leader in the community by organizing and hosting “Arts On The Square” juried art show annually. Many of our members volunteer with Cleveland County Arts Council and Southern Arts Society.
The gallery features paintings, drawings, note cards, polymer clay art, pottery, woodturnings, woodcarvings, jewelry, stained glass, fiber art, photography, quilting, weaving and much more!
The gallery also has in-house studio space with working artists.
The gallery’s long-term objective is to provide and promote art education and appreciation in Cleveland County.
